KUNGRAT KELIM, UZBEKISTAN / Size: 5'5" x 11'4" Condition / Description: This kelim has the deepest, most saturated colors of any that I have seen from this area. The design is also more powerful and dynamic than any other from this group. The wool is very tightly spun, giving the piece a very dense handle and weave. The technique is float-weft brocade. Re-selvedged.It can accurately be called, "Best of Type".
